Arizona's Public Schools Advocate

Arizonans for Quality Education is one of the state’s leading organizations in promoting public schools through investing in education campaigns, advocating for elected officials who support public education, and fostering good education policy. Our commitment lies in ensuring access to vital information and resources concerning high-priority policy issues affecting education and the academic prosperity of Arizona's public school students.

What we do

Policy

Over a million children attend Arizona public schools. Education is a top concern for Arizonans, recognized by polls and business leaders as key to the state's economic future. It's crucial to have informed public discussions to support Arizona's schools effectively.

Candidates

Through our PAC, we support candidates committed to public schools. In today's divided politics, we seek elected officials who stand for what's right and champion public education.

Invest

Due to continuous underfunding, schools statewide rely on local bonds or overrides. While some areas succeed, many struggle to educate the public on these vital funds for teacher pay and school security. AQE aids districts in funding, expertise, and strategy for these crucial elections.

Support

AQE recognizes the excellent work of other education institutions and organizations and choose to support their political agendas and efforts. Groups like the Arizona School Boards Association develop positions on issues based on the association’s political agenda, which is discussed, debated, and approved by ASBA membership at the annual Delegate Assembly.
